The cottage has breath-taking views from every room, a cosy wood burner to curl up in front of and a wood-fired hot tub looking out across the valley, 50 miles as the crow flies towards the coast. Walking

Walks are in abundance and plenty with a local pub to stop for lunch. Lots of local rivers to walk by, 2 or 3 mile loop walks or jogs if you are feeling energetic right from the doorstep. If you fancy a pleasure train journey (dogs allowed) then pop down the road to Finghall train station (around 5 min walk from the cottage). You may even be lucky enough to catch the steam train which toots its way through the fields.
